Bozal Cuishe Single Maguey Mezcal 200ml

Spanish term, bozal, translates to “wild” or “untamed.” We chose this name for our Mezcal in reference to the wild species of Mexican agave grown in hard-to-reach, uncultivated lands of Oaxaca, Guerrero and Durango. As well As for the untamed traditions used by our family-operated distilleries, or mezcaleros, to distill small batches in those same locations.Bozal Mezcal was founded in 2016 and started with an intial release of 4 expressions. To date we have released upwards of 30 unique mezcal expressions. We currently source from three separate mezcal producing Mexican states including Oaxaca, Guerrero. We take pride in the fact that we work with small family owned palenques and chose to highlight the mezcalero on all expression tasting notes.
