Lagavulin 16 Year Islay Single Malt Scotch 750 ml

Lagavulin 16 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch from the Lagavulin distillery on the island's south coast, which has been distilling since 1816. It is matured 16 years in oak casks and bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof), and it has long been a benchmark for smoky, peated Islay whisky.

Intense peat smoke with iodine and seaweed on the nose over a rich, deep sweetness. The palate is dry peat smoke with a gentle but strong sweetness, then sea salt and touches of wood. The finish is long, smoky, and peppery.
