Bardstown Origin Wheated Origin Series 750ml

Bardstown Bourbon Company's Origin Series is the distillery's own estate whiskey from Bardstown, Kentucky. The Wheated expression is a six-year-old Bottled-in-Bond bourbon made from locally sourced Kentucky corn and wheat.

Its mash bill of 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley swaps rye for wheat, which typically yields a softer, rounder bourbon than a rye-forward recipe. Bottled in Bond means it comes from a single distilling season at one distillery and is bottled at 100 proof.

A strong pick for wheated bourbon fans who appreciate a real age statement.
